Neba connects people who need everyday help with people who have time or a useful skill. You can post a task with a reward in naira, apply to help, or offer your skills to people in your city.
Start with where the work needs doing
Enter the city and state, then add your neighborhood so helpers can judge the trip. For example, a moving task might name GRA in Benin City or Garki in Abuja. These are location examples; they do not promise active helpers or coverage.
After signing in, browse by city, neighborhood and category. Task filters also let you choose timing and a reward range; helper offers show availability and starting prices. Share an exact address privately after choosing a helper.
What kind of help can you find?
Moving and furniture assembly
An extra pair of hands for boxes, a sofa or a desk. Mention stairs, item size, tools and whether more than one person is needed.
Tutoring
Maths support, language practice or computer lessons. State the topic, learning level, session length and whether the lesson is online or in person.
Tech help
A phone setup, Wi-Fi troubleshooting or installing software. Describe the device and issue; keep passwords and account access out of the public task.
Event help
Setting up chairs, decorations or packing down. Include the date, expected hours and the part of the event you need help with.
Other everyday tasks
Use Other for work that does not fit these categories. Describe the scope clearly and follow the community guidelines.
Make the task easy to understand
Write a specific title, describe the work and expected time, and mention materials or tools. Set a date or leave timing flexible. Add a cash reward and explain extras such as transport fare or lunch.
Payments are agreed directly between the requester and helper. Confirm the work, costs and payment timing before starting; Neba does not collect payments or hold funds in escrow.
Post a taskHave a skill to offer?
Publish an offer describing what you can help with, your city and a starting price. Your profile can include your skills, availability, completed helper jobs, task reviews and an opted-in approved portrait. A requester can send you a private task request, which you can accept or decline.
Offer your skillsChoose a helper and coordinate privately
Review applications and profiles before choosing. Posting requires a verified phone; offering skills and applying as a helper also require approved identity review. Verification is not a background check or a guarantee of safe behaviour.
After acceptance, Messages keeps the conversation private to both participants. Completion, cancellation after acceptance and rescheduling need the other participant’s confirmation. Completed tasks allow participant reviews and retain read-only conversation history.

Does Neba have helpers in every Nigerian city?
Availability depends on members in the city and neighborhood you choose. Sign in to check current offers and tasks. Neba does not promise that a helper will be available for every request.
Can I use one account to request help and offer skills?
Yes. One account can post tasks and offer help, subject to the relevant verification requirements.
Can I view tasks without an account?
The guides are public. Task listings, helper offers and member profiles require signing in, and private invitations and messages remain restricted to their participants.
